NRCTC-Nepal has played a commendable role in promoting peace by transforming interpersonal and multi-stakeholder conflicts arising within communities. Through mediation-related training programs, the organization has also made a significant contribution to society and the nation. The primary responsibility of the state is to establish peace, security, harmony, and justice in society. Where there is peace, there is prosperity; and where there is prosperity, there is greater potential for justice. In this regard, the organization has been playing an important role.
The Mediation Council is the governing and administrative body responsible for overseeing the overall mediation process, ensuring its quality, and monitoring its implementation. The organization has been affiliated with the Council since its establishment and has been recognized by the Council as the best organization working in the field of mediation and peacebuilding. In this respect, the organization holds a distinct significance. It has contributed to simplifying and supporting the responsibilities entrusted to the Council, duly follows its directives, and regularly submits reports. Its role in strengthening access to justice is particularly important.
