NRCTC-Nepal conducted a Social Audit Program on December 30, 2024, to evaluate the effectiveness of organizational peace building movement, gather beneficiary feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Key stakeholders, including provincial assembly members, local government representatives, civil society organizations, and community members, participated in the event.
The program, chaired by Mr. Rameshwor Bohara, Chairman of NRCTC-Nepal, featured Advocate Ms. Shusila Simkhada as the MC and Honorable Health Minister of Bagmati Province, Mr. Kiran Thapa Magar, as the Chief Guest. Notable attendees included Provincial Assembly Member Ms. Bharati Pathak, Bhaktapur District Coordination Committee Coordinator Mr. Ishwor Bahadur Thapa, Ms. Nirmala Kumari Bogati, Deputy Chairperson and Judicial Committee Coordinator of Nabadurga Rural Municipality, Dadeldhura District, Ms. Parbata Gautam, General Secretary of FECOFUN, Mr. Jograj Giri, Chairperson of AFFON, and Dr. Mukti Rijal, a renowned mediation expert. Additionally, other distinguished representatives from the peace building sector were present to contribute their insights.
Founder Chairperson/Executive Director Mr. Chup Bahadur Thapa highlighted NRCTC-Nepal's journey and program objectives. Dr. Sanjeev Humagain presented an independent review of the organization’s community impact, while Chartered Accountant Mr. Ramsharan Giri provided a detailed financial overview.
The program facilitated open dialogue, enabling stakeholders to share feedback, concerns, and recommendations to enhance transparency, accountability, and community engagement. NRCTC-Nepal extends gratitude to all participants and remains committed to using the insights to refine its initiatives and better serve the community.
