The Central Level Practice Sharing Workshop was held from March 18th to 20th, 2024, in Bode, Bhaktapur, with 57 participants, including board members, the central program team, regional coordinators, regional account officers, national resource persons and facilitators. The focus was on knowledge exchange, sharing achievements, and discussing fundraising strategies for organizational sustainability.
Mr. Ameet Dhakal discussed fundraising strategies at national and international levels, emphasizing securing funds from local government and refining the Khat method for conflict transformation. National Resource Person Sangita Thapa shared a success story from the Jhapa district, highlighting local government support due to the organization's impact and transparency. Executive Director Mr. Chup Bahadur Thapa delineated the foundational elements of fundraising and management, encompassing the 7 Rules and 18 Principles of Fundraising. Participants actively engaged in a role-playing exercise on approaching local government entities for fundraising. Furthermore, a preliminary fundraising strategy was collaboratively crafted during group discussions among regional team members to foster effective execution.
