The public awareness campaign is intended to aware communities about mediation by organizing several programs in local level. In this regard, the street drama is conducted in different wards to connect with the community as seeing is better than hearing when it comes to memory. Therefore, street drama is organized to share the knowledge about the mediation process at the grass-root level in a short period of time. The drama is organized in coordination with a national level team of drama named The Awaj Creation.
These dramas really stir up emotions, create awareness and lead the way towards positive change. Public understand the process of mediation and know about mediation center located in each ward for the resolution of conflict through street drama. In addition, the media coverage about street drama helps to disseminate information about the mediation process to a mass of population. Total 44390 audiences are aware of the mediation process through street drama in program five districts (Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Kavrepalanchok, Dolakha and Sindhupalchok).
