Third phase of seven modular training is organized to produce more skilled human resources to contribute in conflict transformation and peace building movement through capacity building and mobilization of local, regional and national resource team. Altogether, 29 participants of 15 districts are selected for seven modular training through participant selection workshops. Seven modules of the training is organized in two different locations of Bhaktapur and Chitwan districts from 18 October, 2016 to 19 March, 2018.
First six modules of the training focused on multi-stakeholder conflict transformation process while in seventh module, the trainee are capacitated on inter-personal conflict transformation process through mediation technique. Therefore, in this module (seventh), Mediation Council certified eight days long basic mediation training was given to modular trainee. All modules are facilitated by Narayan Bahadur Khapangi in assistance with Rameshwor Bohara and some NRPs of east, west and mid region. Lecture, power point presentation, role play, group observation, open discussions and sharing field experience are primarily employed during the trainings. It was based on action reflection model. Participant learnt theoretical concept in trainings and mobilized in field level for conflict facilitation. In following module, they share their field experiences and new contents of respective module are delivered.
