Multi Stakeholder Conflict Cases
Multi-stakeholder conflicts related to natural resources (forest, land and water) are selected for transformation based on certain criteria (community requested, conflict over a long period of time, remote geographical areas, multi-stakeholder conflict, possible to transform and escalating conflict). Selected conflicts are transformed following the conflict transformation process in the facilitation of conflict facilitators. The process consists of different steps and stages with several meetings and discussion with all concerned stakeholders who are directly and indirectly related to the conflict. Those who are affected and who can affect the conflict are themselves decision makers in this process whereas facilitators only assist reaching win-win situation among conflicting parties. Since the establishment of the organization, 406 conflict cases are transformed contributing to sustainable peace and a better relationship among conflicting parties.
